  1. Woman who used to cure Diseases.
    There lived in Knockperry, Co Tipperary a woman named Síle O Daly and she used cure horses and cattle and all the farmers stock and even the people.
    She had all herbs growing in her garden, such as "piosac buide", "croib dearg", "cairearbán", etc. She was called "cailleac Síle". In those days any such woman was called "cailleac".
