- Supposed Blessed Well
This is a well in Cnocamuc near Rannachmore about 2½ miles from here. It is said St. Patk crossed this way on his way to Slievnamon when coming from Kilkenny through Cross-Partick village. It was called by old people St. Patrick's Well. There was once a tree growing near it. A certain man went to cut the tree, when he had it begun he happened to look towards his house and it was on fire and got burned out.
The well is to be seen there yet
The marks on the flag are said to be St. Patrick's time and people maintain it is a blessed well
