  1. Long ago a man named John Grace lived in Lahorna.
    One night he was coming home from card-playing and he saw the devil on the road. The devil asked him to have a game of cards.
    John consented and the two of started to play. The devil said that if he won the first game John would have to go with him.
    The devil won the first game. John kept to his promise and went with him.
    John never came back to Lahorna, and it is said that he went with the devil.
