  1. There is a man living near my house. His name is John Carney. He has a lot of nice stories, and the people living near him gather into his house every night to hear him tell the lovely stories.
All the people that are in the house forget their troubles, when John begins telling his lovely tales.
John is able to tell about Galloping O'Hogan and his expeditions.
On a Sunday night John goes around to the neighbours' houses, and there he tells his interesting stories which delight all.
John Carney is noted as the best storyteller in the local parish.
