  1. There once lived a priest in this district named Father Mac Namara. When ver he wanted to go any distance he rode a shaggy old pony. When he went to Limerick he had to pass the house of a man named Massey who passed insulting remarks when ever he went to town. One day the priest got so annoyed that he said to the man "remain there until I come back". At that moment he was stuck tot he ground where he stood. He had to remain there several hours until the priest came back after doing his buisiness in town. The priest passed as if he did not see him even though the man was calling him. The priest continued on his journey but the people went after him and begged him to realise the man. The priest returned and did as requested. This proved a good lesson to Mr Massey and
