Ar an leathanach seo

  1. On May Day evil-minded people in the locality bury eggs or dead calves (or borrow the colter of a plough from their neighbours) in their neighbours farms for by doing so they believe that by the help of the 'Evil Spirits' good luck would leave their neighbour and come to them; and that their neighbours cows would give less milk and that their cows would give more milk and richer milk.
    b) Some people sprinkle Holy Water on their cattle on May Eve in order to keep away the 'evil spirits' or to prevent their evil minded neighbours from stealing their produce, or inflicting any evil on the farm or on the animals themselves.
    c) An evil minded neighbour in this locality goes to his neighbour for some milk or for salt in order that his own cows will have more milk and richer milk during the year at the expense of his neighbour.
