- The Giants' Graves or Leaba Diarmuda is GráinneOn the South-eastern shores of Lough Gur are the “Giants Graves” or as they are sometimes called locally “Leaba Diarmuda agus Gráinne”.Those graves are 16’-8” long and 5’-5” wide and two feet over the surfaces.The sides are formed by 8 flagstones on edges and covered by 4 flagstones; some of which weigh 3 tons. Those graves may be seen in front of Mr. John Punche’s house.At the head or western side of the Graves is part or continuance of a second grave ~ the sides of two sections can still be seen as the stones stand above the surface ~ lately however one of those stones has fallen(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
