    There is a Holy well in the Parish of Pallaskenry called Tobar Muire which means Saint Mary's well and the people in that district tried to drain the water into the village by means of pipes but they did not succeed and the pipes are lying beside the well ever since.

  2. An old woman used visit the Holy well in Old Kildimo to wash clothes in it. One Sunday morning she carried her clothes and washed them in the well, then she went to her home and next morning when the neighbours
