  1. In some district adjoining Ballyallina there lived a family called the Liston's and during that time there were no clocks they knew the time by the sun. Margaret Liston lived with her sister and mother and Mary Fleming was their servant girl. One morning Margaret called Mary and said it was cow time and even later. They got the buckets and went out to the cows. While they were milking, so early, a man came riding a grey horse and stood alongside the girls. The man said why were they milking so early.
