- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)"Healer" was the seventh son of a family. The "healing" consisted of rubbing the healer's saliva to the part affected, using the sign of the cross. A Mr. John Brennan of Knockglass a seventh son had this "healing" power.
Persons suffering from headache visited a hollow rock, near a holy well, inserted the head into the hollow, three times. Sometimes it was the eyesight. The eyes were washed at the Holy Well and a "round" paid to the patron Saint. This was generally repeated on three occasions.- Bailitheoir
