    all the time. The deer jumped into the river and Donovan jumped on his back and a man who was working in a field near threw a rope to Donovan so that he could tie the deer in the water and brought him to where they started.
    GREAT JUMPERS: -
    There was a man named Jack Grady who lived in Mount Rivers and he jumped from the bank of the river Blackwater to the island.
    There was a man named Casey from Fermoy who raced the Mail Coach from Fermoy to Cork. The two started together at Fermoy and the Mail Coach changed horses at Watergrasshill and it was here that Casey passed them out he was so tired that he flung himself down on the road to get his wind back and he wanted refreshments but he would not be allowed to get any as, the Mail Coach passed him again. After it passed him he got up and ran after it and passed it at Glanmire and he won the race to Cork.
