   It happened thirteen years ago. It started about four o’clock in the evening and it was mild at that time. At about nine o'clock it got very fierce. After a while it got a little milder. Then it got very mild and it ceased altogether.
   This storm occurred in September and it was terrible.
   A great rainstorm occurred in 1924. It was the worst storm experienced for a long time. It lasted for two days.
   The land was flooded and the wynds of hay were carried away.
   It destroyed the crops which the farmers had planted in their lands.
   The people were trying to save the crops but all was of no use. The flood broke into houses and swept away goods and somme of the people escaped with their goods
