  1. When the outlaw of Mount Hillary was running from the soldiers it happened that one day he had run all the way from Macroom and on arrival at Roskeen he jumped the Blackwater. There was a woman passing by who reminded him of the great jump he had taken. He, turning around towards her said that it was not such a good jump considering the run that he had to it.
