- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)passing it and he was alone. it being very late he was afraid, but he knew he had go home. When he had gone half ways across the wood he felt very tired, so tired that he had to sit down. When he got up he heard a voice calling him as if something awful was wrong.
The man was terrified but he thought it better go back to see what was the matter. He heard all the crying inside in the wood and a man came out to him and handed him a half crown. He told him that he wanted to see him with the past year to give it to him, and he also said that he had no comfort since he left this world and that then he might rest in peace. Then he disappeared and the other man went home quiet safe and not least afraid, because the load of the other man's trouble was gone off him.
