    There was a priest going to a station one morning north near Castlemore.

    (continued from previous page)
    sign of a hare inside, only an old woman sitting in a corner spinning. There were drops of blood on the floor near her. The boy went out and told the priest what he saw. "Go back" said the priest, "and look at her leg".
    The boy went back into the house and looked at the old woman's leg, and if he did he saw the sign of the dog's teeth on it.
