- (continued from previous page)In the morning some newly milked milk was strained into the pot and the whole thing stirred well. The mixture was regarded as delicious curds-and-whey. It made a delightful breakfast dish.
- Balm was found plentifully. It was collected and dried in the sun. When perfectly dried it made fine tea. It was prepared as we prepare tea now.
