   I do not know where the wild geese build their nests. The water hen builds her nest in bogs and in sedge places. I do not know what she makes it with. The ball coot builds her nest on a wall if the wall is near or in the middle of water. She makes it with rushes and straw.
   It is said that when Our Lord was dying the robin tried to pull the nails from his hands and feet, and the thorns from his head. a drop of blood fell on the robins breast and ever since the robin is called the Robin Red Breast.
