  1. Many stories are told about the Holy Family while fleeing from Herod into the land of Egypt.
One day while the Blessed Virgin, St. Joseph and the Holy Infant were journeying along they felt tired and sat down to rest.
It was not long until the shades of night fell and when the Holy Family stood up to go they saw a dim light a long distance away.
They said they would go and see if the people would give them shelter for the night.
The owner of the house was a robber who lived therein with his wife and child. The child was covered with a horrible disease.
