    There was once a team in my parish called the "Kilbride Emmets" and this team kept the County Championship for four years. About thirty years they played. The teams of the whole County had no chance of beating them. Every Sunday the people of the parish gathered and practised and placed their men in the team.
    Their team were as follows, in goals Mr. O Flanagan and others were; Messrs. E Snipe,
