    We have 3 cows 2 calves and 1 donkey at home.
    One of the cows is called Mollie and the others are called Darkies. The roof is made of galvinised iron.
    The floor of it is paved with round stones. There is a gutter in it.
    We bed the floor with rushes. We leave the cows in the cow-house in the Winter and we leave them out in the Summer time. I drive the cows to the field every day. When we are driving them we say Prugie.
    We put the food in the manger. We have a horse-shoe nailed to the door it is a sign of luck. We tie them with chains to stakes. We feed the calves twice a day.
