- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)in winter. There is a manger in the stable for holding hay and there is a building of cement with a hole in it for the horse to eat oats out of.
There is a staple fastened to the manger and a chain hanging out of it and this chain is fastened to a rope which is around the horses neck. There is a block at the end of the chain which pulls it down and the horse himself pulls it up.
The floor of the stable is paved with stones and cement and there is a hole in the wall for leaving a brush for cleaning the horse in. Some of the hair is clipped off the horse at the beginning of Winter with(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
