    district. Sometimes they competed with each other in songmaking and at other times they wrote against each other.
    None of these poets got their gift of poetry from their ancestors so the power of poetry must have been given to themselves except Mr Quinn from his father.
    All these poets were farmers and they composed their songs in their spare time. Some of them were very good scholars and writers.
    Most of the songs they composed are to be heard still
