    away. The two then proceeded to get tools to unearth the treasure, but when they returned they found a similar mark on every briar in the fence. The two men looked surprised at each other Cunningham saying "This little giant has been too clever for us." They talked about the way they were fooled or awhile and finally came to the conclusion that they were better to leave the fence alone for some time when the little giant might be foolish enough to fall into their hands again. After a few days one of the men found a golden hammer near the fence. After some time a few neighbors heard the story and so one morning they came and dug up the whole fence only to find the skeleton of a fish.
