    Griddle cakes
    This kind of bread was baked on a griddle.
    Wedding cakes were made in the Crossard district seventy years ago. These were made with sugar, butter, eggs and cream. The eggs, butter and sugar were beaten up in a basin. Then they used get the flour and pour the cream, butter and eggs upon it. These cakes were baked in the ovens for about two hours.
