  1. One night a man was coming home from Urlingford about twelve O'clock at night and when he came to his own gate he saw a big black dog without a head about a hundred yards from him.
    He looked away for a minute and when he looked back again the dog was gone.
    A few nights after this he was coming home from a neighbouring house and the same dog followed him home.
