  1. The are fairy forts in the townsland of Graiguehesia. There is one in Butlers Garnage on in Mr J Phelan and another in Mr Costelloes. They are in view of each other. They are all round and are fenced in by bushes.
    Some people are afraid to go near them but I gathered sticks out of Butlers fort and nothing happened. People say that a man with two dogs was seen walking in a ring around Butler's fort in the middle of the night. The man wore a black mask and the dogs had fire coming out of their eyes.
