And if ever Ireland needs my help
Ill hold the Fenian Gun.

And weathered many a gale
My life long years I have spent inside
A Gloomy English gale
I have done my part and will do it still
Until the fight is won
Till Ireland free shall bless the sons
That held the Fenian Gun
