They used to fish herring a night that there would be dark moon there. They had four places to catch herrings. One near Buacaill, one near Calcorss, one near Ormond's Island. They were old sand beds. There were sixteen men at the seine. Five from Ardea. Six from Lehud and five from Drombohily.
