The crane gets damp.
The smoke rises up in a swirl, and when it reaches the chimney pot, it decends to the ground.
The salt gets damp, and a mist comes on the looking glass.
The cat turns her back on the fire, and mews in a crying voice.
Blue flames are seen among the burning coals.
The wind blowing from the west, the low dark sky, the cap on the mountain, the streamers from the setting sun, and the loud noise of the far away cart all tell of coming rain.
The clocks and worms creep out, when the snails come out of their houses, the frogs turn their coats to black, the dogs eat grass, the sheep feed in the early dawn, the goats come down from the mountain, and the flies disturb the cattle.
