- (continued from previous page)The people used to go to wedding on horse-back to race. There was a race one time from Patrick Beagon's lane, Drumlinny to Calleagh. There was always four horses racing. The groom always had a good horse, and they used to take the bride before them on the horse.
- Marriage takes place in this district at all times of the year, unless the weeks of Lent and the three weeks of Advent. You can get married on St. Patrick's Day. Marriages do take place on Shrove Tuesday as it is the(continues on next page)
