- Were in this district also. They did their work by charm. When they came to the house they got two meatháns which they cut in halves and laid them on the table making a square. They cursed and swore until these came together then the affected person was cured.
- If a member of the family needed herbs the father or mother had to go. Servants could not go as there was a belief that if they would go the sickness would fall on them.
