    There are a number of houses in one part of the townland and they were inhabited by the Healys. The townland got its name from the number of stones that are in it. It is situated in the barony of "Tír Oliolla". A man named Robert Orr lived in another house which is now in ruins. This man sold his land and went away to some other country,
