    Saint Patrick's Day falls on the seventeenth of March, the people in the district wear shamrocks in honour of Saint Patrick.
    Christmas the most important feast of the year, falls on the 25th of December.
    On Christmas Eve there is a big tea supper, it always is a rich supper, there are all sorts of cakes; such as Potato cake, Boxty bread, Ice cakes, rich cakes, and tea; after that the children have great fun playing, then the children get ready for bed, they hang their stockings up, Santa Claus comes during the night and fills their stockings with presents.
