  1. A Treasure
About a quarter of a mile from the little town of Ballintogher there lived a strong healthy man who was very greedy for money.
He had a dream three nights in succession that there was a treasure containing three pots of gold in his neighbour's garden/
On the fourth night he went into his neighbour's garden to dig for it, and he kept on digging until day-break but failed to find anything. He dug again the next night but found nothing, and on the third night when he had only one sod dug he took a terrible pain in his right hand and side and he had to stop digging and go home and go to bed, and it is believed that he died within a few days from the effects of it.
