  1. Pieces of limestone are gathered on the mountain and when the full of the kiln is gathered there is a big fire lit in the bottom of the kiln and then the limestone is filled into the kiln and it is burned. When it is burned it is shovelled out and it is white.
    The people use lime for many purposes such as for white washing a house. It has great power for burning away things.
