  1. A Good Mower
    About thirty years ago there lived a man named James Cailpin about a quarter of a mile from my home. He was a very famous mower and he used to go here and there through the country mowing for people that employed him. Half-an-acre of heavy meadow was an ordinary day's work for any mower but James could easily mow an acre.
    One day, James had business to the fair of Dromore West, where he met a farmer named Mr. Kane from Ballina. As it was a little late in the year, James had not any work to do around home. Mr Kane said he had two acres of meadow to mow and he could not find anyone to cut it. Cailpin said only for the distance was no far he would
