    when the giant called where are you ring, it answered, "I am here Master". The woman saw the peril she was in, for the ring would lead him to her. Instantly she cut off her toe, and threw it into a chasm about a hundred feet deep. The giant called again, and the ring answered him. The giant ran quickly and fell headlong into the chasm and was killed. The people were very thankful to her for ridding the district of such a fierce persecutor.
