Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)He was surprised when he saw him. He said "I thought I should get another coffin for you". And then Jack told his story and his master gave him £100 as a reward. The news soon went around the country and Jack was known everywhere. They lived in the castle afterwards and were happy.
There were three giants living near them and they used to be stealing his master's cattle. They had gold, silver, and diamonds in their hiding place but no one could in there for it was surrounded with high walls. This day Jack saw the giant stealing a cow and he told him to leave her after him. The giant said to Jack "I'll eat you if you don't hold". Jack said "Ball do your work" and the ball started hitting the giant until it killed him.
His brother came out to carry the body away but the ball killed him too. The mother then came out and she was a ugly-looking as her sons. She had claws and she could drag anyone towards her.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
