    Belscarra, along the Cloone River about three miles from Mohill, the scene of many a skirmish between the O'Reillys of Cavon and the Reynolds of Murnnur Colais
    The remains of the castle were turned into a flax-mill and the irons were taken out during the Great European war and made into bullets. Nothing but the ruins of the mill are to be seen now.
    At Drumibra in 1703, the ruling bishop of Ardagh (Doctor Foley) confirmed the people. Drumhgibra is to West of main road from Gorletteragh to Drumlish.
    Doctor Flynn (Bishop) buried at Cloone on right-hand side of entrance gate. Headstone to be seen there still. Tradition that some Protestant employed a local stone cutter to obliterate representation of chalice, and that he cut his hand at first stroke.
