- There is a fort in Lisnanerris not far from my house. It belongs to John McDermot. It is said that there is a pot of gold hidden under it. This pot of hold was in a field near the fort and it was moved from that to the fort. My father's uncle dreamed three nights one after another, of a pot of gold that was near by. One morning before the sun arose he went out and started to dig, soon he came to the stone which was covering the gold. His mother came out and called him in to his breakfast when he came back to look for it he could not find it.There is another fort in Mahanagh. There are two lonely bushes in it. James McMorrow brought stones out of another fort in Lisnanerris and he broke them on the road. This fort belonged to Berney Campbell.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
