    One day a man took his hatchet and went to cut a whitethorn bush for firewood, as fires were bad the same year.

    One day a man took his hatchet and went to cut a whitethorn bush for firewood, as fires were bad the same year.
    He lifter his hatchet and struck the bush with all his might.
    The head just then the fell from his hatchet and disappeared and no more then if the ground opened and swallowed it, trace or tidings of the head could not be found.
    Another man went to cut a bush a fort also and so soon as he lifted his hatchet his two hands fell dead.
