For burns they used to use bog moss and lime juice.
When the people used to have a pain in their ear they used to dip a piece of wool in castor oil, and warm it and put it in their ear. If they had a pain in their hand they used to wear a tight, black, silk around their wrist.
They used to rub unsalted butter and sulphur of ring-worm.
For boils they used to melt sugar and soap together and spread it on a cloth and put it to the boils.
When the people used to have a sore throat the cure they had was to roast some potatoes in the fire and when roasted, they used put them in their stocking, and put it around their throat
For sore eyes they used to cure them by bathing them in warm tea, and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
