- Once there lived a man by the name of Tommy Bagget of Ballyhague who was a great hand at making skibs for clothes. They are about four inches and they are used for bringing clothes out to dry. This is how he used to make them. He used to pull rods and pull the skin off them and he used to leave them over the fire to season and he used to weave them around each other. He used to have two handles in them. There is a man by the Dowd from Glynsk who can make churns.
