    One time there was a man and his wife and son. The man's wife died and she had a golden ring on her finger. She was buried with the ring on her finger and the night after she was buried the son went to the grave and cut off her finger and took the ring. The next night there came a knock to the door. The man of the house went to the door and who did he see but the woman asking for the ring.
