On St Stephen's Day a number of men and boys go around the districts gathering money they divide it among them-selves or spend it in a shop on tea.
Some of them disguise themselves with false faces and clothes.
The important feast days of the year are Saint Brigid's day, St. Patrick's day, Shrove Tuesday, Easter Sunday, Whit Sunday, May eve. On hallow eve people tie an apple on a piece of cord to the ceiling and a person tries to catch hold of the apple with his mouth and if he catches it he gets the apple.
