boys and girls go round from house to house with a may bush singing the may song,
"a long life, a happy wife,
something for the may bush."
On hallow eve people have a feast of nuts, cakes and other nice things.
The fairies are supposed to be out on hallow eve night and are supposed to poison the blackberries. Christmas day is a great feast day because on that day our Lord was born and there is a crib in the Church.
People have a feast on that day. They have turkey, plum-pudding and other nice dishes and they a party that night.
