The Farland Bank was built about ninety years ago. It was Lord Brassey who built it. There was a man called Logan working at it, and he got killed quarring stones by a landslide. There is a short story connected with it.
When the men were working at this bank, each week or each month, there came a man with their wages, So this day he came and he always came on horseback. Anyhow on his journey he men(t) this old man breaking stones along the wayside, so they stopped and talked. But the man on horseback proceeded onwards till(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
