Gortmacall is a townland about half a mile west of Milford. A family named McGlynn has for generations a farm there. To the west of the dewelling there is a field with seveal rocks or flat stones.
On one of these rocks Mass was celebrated about a hundred and fifty years ago and the Bishop of this diocese confirmed people there.
