When far away hills look near at hand it is commonly said that rain is nigh. When a cat sits with its back to the fire it is a sign of rain. When you see brown frogs it is the sign of good weather. When the frogs spawn in the middle of a pool a good summer is due. When the spawn lines the edges of the pool wet weather is coming.
