    We have a churn at home. It is about three feet high. It is about two feet wide at the top, and the same at the bottom. The sides are round. It is about thirty-three years old. There are a lot of parts in it. the churn-dash, the lid, and a lot of other parts. Butter is made each week in winter and twice a week in Summer. My Mother does the churning and I help her. If any one came in during they take it. for fear they would "bring the butter." The churning takes a half an hour in Summer and an hour in winter. The churning is done by hand the churn-dash is move upwards and downwards (The churn) People know when
